Division 2, 3, and 4 Rules to Remember for Game Day:
IMPORTANT NWBSA REMINDERS:
ALL GOALS MUST BE SECURED. IF NOT SECURED, TELL THE HOME COACH TO FIX. IF GOALS ARE NOT SECURED, YOU DO NOT PLAY THE GAME
- NO NWBSA COACHES PASS = NO GAME PLAY!
There must be at least one carded coach on the sideline to play the game
- NO NWBSA PLAYER PASS = NO PLAY!
- You must have an NWBSA player pass or you don't play - NO exceptions!
- Substitution is allowed on "either" teams throw-in OR goal kick. Reminder to use the proper substitution process detailed under "Referee Reminders" tab
- NO HEADING in Division 4. If a player deliberately heads the ball, you simply award an Indirect Free Kick to opponent
- When you check in the teams, you must keep ALL player passes in your
possession. Separate and store them in your bag until game is completed. - If you issue a card during the game, you must record the player name on your
game day report and when you input report on the website. If you issue a red card, you will keep the card and send to league office.
- If you select either D-Poor or F-Intolerable under the "rating" section on
the website, please remember to enter "why" and any "details" in the notes
section in the cards area underneath
When completing the game report online, please remember to either check the box "in uniform" if entire team had matching shirts/shorts/socks, or enter comments to explain how the teams did not match as this is being tracked by league
- Duration of NWBSA match:
- - Division 4 (5th/6th grade) - 17 minute quarters - NO heading the ball in D4.
- - Division 3 (7th/8th grade) - 20 minute quarters
- - Division 2 (high school) - 22 minute quarters
